Gio Ponti (1891–1979)
Rare lounge chair featuring a frame of sculpted elm wood, a high, inclined backrest, and a seat suspended on interwoven Pirelli straps. Its slender profile and exposed construction lend the chair a strong, sculptural quality. A variant of the model 811 designed by Gio Ponti for Cassina. Awaiting restoration.
